Jared Estrada
Jared is 25 years old and grew up in Ventura, California. He graduated from California Lutheran University in the Spring of 2020 with a Bachelors in Film/TV Production and a Minor in Multimedia. Jared has experience working jobs in the film industry such as: being a Production, Grip, Office, and Editing Assistant for the last several years. Jared met Kalene through the Film Production Club during their time at CLU in which they both realized they had similar ambitions/ goals regarding what they want for their future in the film industry. Jared hopes to become a professional Cinematographer and has worked on multiple short films as such, not only practicing his craft, but helping those who are interested along the way.
Kalene Chase
Kalene is 27 years old and is from Thousand Oaks, California. Movies have been a staple in Kalene’s life, ranging from watching Turner Classic Movies with her mom to 80s Rom Coms with her dad. She graduated from California Lutheran University in 2019 with a Bachelors in Communications with an emphasis in TV/ Film Production. Kalene and Jared met at the CLU Film Production Club and began working on multiple projects together. They realized they shared the same passion, dedication, and drive when it came to making films so it naturally made sense to begin a company together. Kalene has had the opportunity to work as a DP, Production Coordinator, Camera Assistant, Production Assistant, Assistant to Grip, and Boom Operator for several small productions/ commercial/films.. Kalene hopes to continue her journey within the industry growing into a well rounded Writer and Director; creating stories that make you think, be uncomfortable, and leave you wanting more.
